While somehow a novice in art theory, in my paintings I always tried to express myself in a figurative, direct style, facilitating immediate contact with the viewer through “living images”.

Using the theme /subject, composition, light and colour in an instinctively aesthetic combination (that in my vision should represent life in its real beauty), I try to impress the viewer through an arrangement of forms, lines and colours while transmitting emotion and accord. 

A painting should induce immediate inquisitiveness, thoughts and sentiments. The technique and style of painting should not impede on clarity, intelligibility and storytelling.

Ideally, a painting should not only represent an isolated revelation of form, light and colour but a powerful vision, a strong feeling mesmerizing the viewer.

Desi intr-un fel incepator in teoria artei, in lucrarile mele am incercat intotdeauna sa ma exprim intr-un stil figurativ, direct, care sa faciliteze prin “imagini vii” contactul imediat cu privitorul. 

Folosind subiectul, compozitia, lumina si culoarea intr-o combinatie estetica instinctiva (care in viziunea mea ar trebui sa reprezinte viata in infatisarea ei nemijlocita, frumoasa), incerc sa impresionez privitorul printr-un aranjament de forme, linii si culori si in acelasi timp sa  livrez emotie si acord.

Un tablou trebuie sa trezeasca interes imediat, ganduri si sentimente, iar mijloacele tehnice si stilul nu ar trebui sa estompeze claritatea, inteligibilitatea si discursul.

Ideal ar fi ca un tablou sa nu reprezinte doar o impresie fericita si momentana de forma, lumina si culoare ci o viziune puternica, un sentiment intens care vrajeste privitorul.
